The design and the contents of the MedCat website and database are the property of the Sciència.cat research group, represented by Lluís Cifuentes and Carmel Ferragud.

The website and the MedCat database are published under Creative Commons license CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 (Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International). Therefore, the material can be shared and modified, on the condition of making an explicit attribution of its provenance (see How to cite), not making commercial use of it and disseminating it with the same license.

The images used on the website are the property of the institutions indicated below, and they are reproduced here for non-commercial purposes: 1.
