Comentaris
Metge (físic), jueu, de Marsella. Probablement, fill de Shem Tov ben Isaac de Tortosa (1196 – post 1264). Fou autor d'un petit manual de terapèutica. Col·laborà, a Marsella, en dues traduccions arabollatines del Tractat de les plantes atribuït a Galè, una de les quals datada el 1282. La seva identificació amb el traductor Abraham de Tortosa (fl. s. XIII-2) és discutida.

James II orders the settlement of neighborhood disputes over an estate of the royal doctor Arnau de Vilanova in the city of Valencia. 1298 (ACA); 2.
