Barber de Vic. Fill de Pere Despuig I (fl. 1340) i Beatriu (esposa de Pere Despuig I). Casat amb Elisenda (esposa de Pere Despuig) (fl. 1339 – 1342), filla del també barber Guillem de Sanoguera (fl. 1339 – 1367), i pare del barber Francesc Despuig (fl. 1343 – 1346). L'any 1339 rep de mans del seu sogre 260 ss que li eren deguts del dot de la seua esposa.

Doctorate and teaching license of Narcís Solà, bachelor of medicine, issued by Bernat de Casaldòvol, doctor of medicine and chancellor of the Faculty of Medicine in Barcelona, 1526 (AHCB); and 7. Partnership between Joan Llunes and Joan Francesc Llunes, father and son, and Lluís Gual, the former’s son-in-law, surgeons of Caldes de Montbui, in order to practise the profession, 1579 (AHCB).
