Infant de la Corona d'Aragó, segon marquès de Villena i segon senyor de Cifuentes. Fill de Alfons (I) de Gandia (c. 1332 – 1412). Casat amb Juana de Castilla, filla il·legitima de Enric II de Castella (fl. 1333 – 1379). Morí el 14 d'agost de 1385 a la batalla d'Aljubarrota.

James II orders the settlement of neighborhood disputes over an estate of the royal doctor Arnau de Vilanova in the city of Valencia. 1298 (ACA); 2.
