Ciutadà de València. Els hereus de mestre Llama (fl. 1279 – 1304) li havien cedit la potestat de cobrar un deute que la cort reial tenia amb aquest metge i el 1325 aconseguí que Jaume II el Just (1267 – 1327) n'ordenés el pagament. Se'n conserva l'inventari de béns, fet en l'any 1328 (García & Almenar 2022). Ell i la seva esposa Joana foren pares d'Arnaldona, esposa del pintor de València Marc de Roures (III), germà del notari de València Miquel de Roures (fl. 1334 – 1341), que el 1334 denuncià Jaume Llama (fl. 1331 – 1347). El 1334 Joana denuncià el seu gendre per haver assassinat Arnaldona estant prenyada de cinc mesos (Cerveró 1960; Pintura 2005, "1304" per error; Mocholí 2012).

The small images on the decorative ribbon correspond, from left to right, to the following documents: 1. James II orders the settlement of neighborhood disputes over an estate of the royal doctor Arnau de Vilanova in the city of Valencia. 1298 (ACA); 2. Contract between Guglielmo Neri de Santo Martino, a surgeon from Pisa, and the physician-surgeon from Majorca Pere Saflor, bachelor of medicine, to practise medicine and surgery under the latter’s direction, 1356 (ACM); 3. Valuation of the workshop of Guillem Metge, an apothecary from Barcelona, made by the apothecaries Miquel Tosell, Berenguer Duran and Vicenç Bonanat, for its sale to Llorenç Bassa, a fellow apothecary, 1364 (AHPB); 4. Peter III the Ceremonious regularizes the legal situation of Esteró, a Jewish female doctor from Vilafranca del Penedès, granting her an extraordinary license to practice medicine. 1384 (ACA); 5.
