Apotecari de Barcelona. El 1379 contractà l'aprenent Bernat Ferran, de Valls (Jordi 2003; Vela 2007: 731). L'apotecari Pere Gil, de Barcelona, que vivia a casa seva, el nomenà marmessor testamentari el 1388 (Vela 2007: 523). El 1393 comprà una esclava a Barcelona (Hernando 2003; Vela 2007: 800). Casat amb Margarida de Reixac, germana de Pere de Reixac, doctor en lleis, la qual feu testament el 1423, quan ja era vídua (Vela 2007: 547-548). — Formes antigues del nom: «Bernardus de Casaldòvol» (llatí).

Valuation of the workshop of Guillem Metge, an apothecary from Barcelona, made by the apothecaries Miquel Tosell, Berenguer Duran and Vicenç Bonanat, for its sale to Llorenç Bassa, a fellow apothecary, 1364 (AHPB); 4. Peter III the Ceremonious regularizes the legal situation of Esteró, a Jewish female doctor from Vilafranca del Penedès, granting her an extraordinary license to practice medicine. 1384 (ACA); 5.
