Noble empordanesa. Era filla de Bernat (I) de Vilamarí, que fou veguer de Lleida (m. 1385), i de Francesca de Palau. Casada amb Berenguer de Fortià (m. a. 1375), prengué el nom de Francesca de Fortià i foren pares, almenys, de la reina Sibil·la de Fortià (c. 1350 – 1406), de Bernat de Fortià, cavaller i conseller reial (m. d. 1424), i de Marquesa de Fortià, esposa de Berenguer Barutell i cortesana de la reina.
