Comentaris
Rellotger de la ciutat de Saragossa. En 1424 apareix contractat per a fer un rellotge mecànic per a la catedral d'Osca. Es compromet a ensenyar a dos o tres persones en el maneig i manteniment de la màquina, i a acudir a reparar-ho cada 4 anys a canvi d'una pensió anual, excepte per culpa d'un raig.
Era veí de Saragossa, on viuria almenys fins a 1439. Era acomodat i tenia terres en Villanueva de Gállego. En 1434, en operacions testamentals, apareix com a rellotger de la Seu de Saragossa. Pot ser que la màquina de Mateu Alemany (fl. 1404 – 1407) fora sostinguda i reelaborada per este ferrer, encara que no era automàtica, ja que Joan de Arasal tocava les hores.
