Considerant que tant Miralpeix (Noguera) -avui cobert pel pantà de Rialb- com Mirapeis [Mirepoix], es troben a la mateixa distància aproximadament de Puigcerdà, s'ha triat l'opció de Mirapeis per considerar-la una vila de major pes i influència on podria residir el metge Jaume Fisca.
