Transcripció:«Nos, Jacobus, et cetera. Attendentes vos, magistrum Berengarium Malvini, cirurgicum, habitatorem Barchinone, tenere in cura vestra plures vulneratos ad quorum domos, cum interdum ad domum vestram ipsi non possunt accedere, sepius, tam de die quam nocte, vos ire opportet, propter quod asseritis vos timere per aliquos offendi indebite, idcirco, per presentem cartam, concedimus vobis quod, de die et nocte, deferre arma vos cum altero vobiscum eunte, tamen licite valeatis sine pena. Mandantes per presentem vicario et baiulo ac ceteris nostris officialibus Barchinone quod, prestito prius per vos sacramento in posse ipsius vicarii quod dicta arma vos vel ille qui vobiscum ibit non defferatis causa vel ratione aliquem offendendi, set ad deffensionem corporis et custodiam, vos et euntem vobiscum defferre permitant arma predicta, ut superius continetur. In cuius rei testimonium, presentem cartam vobis fieri iussimus, nostro sigillo pendenti munitam.
