Estudi de l'arribada del text d'Orient a Europa i de l'evolució de les diferents tradicions d'aquesta obra en les llengües romàniques i de l'Epistola ad Alexandrum de dieta servanda.

Surveys the transmission of this text from Arab into Latin and examines the Romance language traditions, with special emphasis on the Occitan, both prose and verse versions.

Partnership between Joan Llunes and Joan Francesc Llunes, father and son, and Lluís Gual, the former’s son-in-law, surgeons of Caldes de Montbui, in order to practise the profession, 1579 (AHCB).
