Giralt, Sebastià, "Science of Stars for King Pere the Ceremonious: Pere Engilbert and Dalmau Sesplanes", Cahiers de recherches médiévales et humanistes - Journal of Medieval and Humanistic Studies, 47 (2024), 457-473.

Resum
Astrology and astronomy reached their peak within the Crown of Aragon under the reign of Pere the Ceremonious (1336–1387). The promotion of the science of the stars became substantial after 1359, when Pere Engilbert and Dalmau Sesplanes, master and disciple, entered the service of the Crown to jointly carry out observations meant to produce astronomical works, such as the Tables and almanac and the Tables of King Pere (with Jacob Corsuno), while also fulfilling the role of court astrologers.
