Resum
Aquest article pretén fixar la cronologia dels anys de crisi de mortalitat que va patir la ciutat de Vic i Osona entre el 1348, any de l'arribada de la Pesta Negra, i el final del segle xv. Els episodis reiterats de pesta i altres malalties contagioses, i moltes altres calamitats que es van donar en paral·lel, com ara caresties, fams i guerres, van provocar una crisi demogràfica catastròfica. En arribar a l'any 1500 Vic encara no havia recuperat la població anterior al 1348.
